Welcome to the Mayfield Cricket Club Website

We are a friendly, ambitious, and successful village club with a long and proud history stretching back to 1750.  This season we'll be fielding three Saturday sides in the East Sussex Cricket League, a Sunday friendly side and three Colts teams, at Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15.  Details can be seen on the Fixtures page of this site. 

Our beautiful Wellbrook ground (tucked away behind the trees just off the Mayfield roundabout), will look even better very soon, when the ground levelling and rebuilding projects have been completed, and in spite of the two piles of ashes that mindless arsonists left us with in September last year. It made us determined to build a bigger and better pavilion, for use in the whole village community, and in keeping with a progressive village club for the twenty-first century.

Anyone interested in cricket, whether as a player (ours come in a variety of shapes, sizes, ages and skill levels), spectator, scorer, umpire, tea-maker, Friend or casual passer-by will receive a warm welcome, a real taste of cricketing tradition, a beautiful New Clubhouse and all the facilities you could ever want to enjoy the beautiful game of cricket!
