Welcome to the Mayfield Cricket Club website                                 

We are a friendly, ambitious, and successful village club with a long and proud history stretching back to 1750.  Nowadays we field two teams on a Saturday in the East Sussex Cricket League, a Sunday friendly side, two Colts teams and a variety of social events. 

We are lucky enough to own our beautiful Wellbrook ground (tucked away behind the trees just off the Mayfield roundabout).

We run a thriving Colts section (7 – 13), with summer training on Wednesday evenings, winter coaching on a Saturday, and evening and weekend matches during the season.  For the adults, we have winter nets on Sunday evenings at St John’s Leisure Centre in Tunbridge Wells and outdoor practice on Tuesday at the club from approx 6.00pm.

Anyone interested in cricket, whether as a player (ours come in a variety of shapes, sizes, ages and skill levels), spectator, scorer, umpire, tea-maker, Friend or casual passer-by will receive a warm welcome, a real taste of cricketing tradition and a pint or two of beer in the pub afterwards!
